Centroids of Plane Areas

The centroid of an area is the point where the whole area is considered to be concentrated. This tool calculates the centroid coordinates (x, y) and area for common plane shapes.

Supported Shapes:

  • Square: Equal sides
  • Rectangle: Different length and width
  • Circle: Defined by radius
  • Semi-Circle: Half circle
  • Right-angled Triangle: Right angle at origin
