Pressure Drop Calculation for Non-Schedule 40 Pipes

For pipes other than schedule 40, use the following formula:

dp = dp₄₀ × (d₄₀ / d)⁵

Where:

  • dp = actual pressure drop (kg/m² per 100 m pipe)
  • dp₄₀ = pressure drop in schedule 40 pipe from table above (kg/m² per 100 m pipe)
  • d₄₀ = inside diameter schedule 40 pipe (mm)
  • d = actual inside diameter (mm)
