DIN - Deutsches Institut für Normung

The German Institute for Standardization (DIN) is a non-governmental organization recognized by the German government as the national standards body. DIN promotes rationalization, quality assurance, safety, and environmental protection through over 12,000 standards covering topics including physical quantities, fasteners, water analysis, building engineering, materials testing, and process engineering.
