Duct Wrap Insulation - Thermal Resistance

Heat flow thermal resistance of unfaced and faced duct wrap insulation. Faced insulation has a vapor paper or plastic facing retarder, while unfaced insulation lacks the retarder. The vapor retarder helps prevent mold and mildew. Faced insulation should be used in exterior walls and attic ceilings.
