Formula
tg = 0.5 × tmr + 0.5 × ta
Where:
- tg = Globe (resultant) temperature (°C or °F)
- tmr = Mean radiation temperature (°C or °F)
- ta = Air temperature (°C or °F)
Globe temperatures can be measured with acceptable results in the centre of black globes with diameters ranging 25 - 150 mm.
