Latent heat of vaporization for fluids like alcohol, ether, nitrogen, water and more. Calculate the heat required to convert a unit mass of liquid into vapor without a change in temperature.

Formula
The heat required to evaporate a fluid:
q = he × m
Where:
- q = evaporation heat (kJ)
- he = latent heat of evaporation (kJ/kg)
- m = mass of liquid (kg)
Example
For 10 kg of water with latent heat of evaporation of 2256 kJ/kg:
q = 2256 kJ/kg × 10 kg = 22,560 kJ
