IP (Ingress Protection) Rating Format: IPXY

X (First Digit - Dust Protection): 0-6
- 0: No protection
- 1: Protected against solid objects >50mm
- 2: Protected against solid objects >12.5mm
- 3: Protected against solid objects >2.5mm
- 4: Protected against solid objects >1mm
- 5: Limited dust ingress (no harmful deposit)
- 6: Totally protected against dust

Y (Second Digit - Water Protection): 0-8
- 0: No protection
- 1: Dripping water (vertical)
- 2: Dripping water (up to 15°)
- 3: Spraying water (up to 60°)
- 4: Splashing water from all directions
- 5: Water jets from all directions
- 6: Powerful water jets
- 7: Immersion up to 1m for up to 30 minutes
- 8: Prolonged immersion under pressure
