Pythagorean Theorem

Verifying square corners using the Pythagorean theorem. Calculate the hypotenuse length C from sides A and B using the formula C = √(A² + B²).

The Pythagorean theorem is often used to verify if a corner is square (90 degrees).

Formula: C² = A² + B²

Or expressed as: C = √(A² + B²)

Example

With A = 5 m and B = 10 m, the hypotenuse C = √((5)² + (10)²) = √125 ≈ 11.2 m
